CULTURAL BURNING FOR RESILIENCE – MOVIE
The 2019/2020 Currowan Fires are still at the forefront of many of our hearts and minds, and we know there is still so much healing to be done. Last year we had the privilege of being able to support a beautiful project led by local Aboriginal Elders, local fire practitioners and Aboriginal youth from 4 different Shoalhaven High Schools to produce a film of hope and healing for all involved and all that have the opportunity to receive it, ‘Cultural Burning for Resilience’.
We want to empower people to do their best to tread a little lighter. Whether that is by creating compost in their backyard to reduce the number of food scraps going to landfill or by making their own products. There are a lot of options available.
We’ll continue to add to this page as we create or gather more and more resources, cheat sheets and templates to help you on your journey. If you have a resource that you think should be included, let us know!
